The 2009 H1N1 influenza virus outbreak has caused many to worry about protecting their health. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), respiratory infections like influenza are more serious in patients with asthma, often leading to pneumonia and acute respiratory disease, and CDC has issued important 2009 H1N1 flu recommendations for clinicians and for asthma patients.
