Any Thought To Including Cumulative Home Plus School Trigger Burden?

Kids are at their School as much as they are at home.for much of the year, and a view of asthma hospitalizations and ED visits shows a Back-to-School peak in Sept-Nov. and on first days back to school after holidays.

Making Asthma control efforts person-centered should include both.

Yes, we agree that the school environment is also essential for establishing and maintaining good asthma control for our intervention participants.  Our CHWs will work with families to see if greater coordination with the school nurse is possible and encourage close collaboration.  We also have extensive programming targeted for trigger reduction in the school environment for nurses, teachers, and facilities staff.
