Hello, For medical providers, what are some of the key messages that seem to work to bring a provider into the referral fold?
Key messages that may be helpful for medical providers can include
-Available evidence supporting in-home visits for asthma
-Reinforce that in-home visits can provide services that aren't readily or easily available in the provider's office including longer time available for asthma education
-Simple placards or flyers directed to providers on what services are provided and how results will be communicated
For many providers I suspect it is more a lack of awareness of programs than a beleif in lack of efficacy.
