Event Description:
The 12th annual clincial conference is sponsored by the Arizona Asthma Coalition. This learning opportunity will explore best practices for clinicians who treat asthma and allergy in outpatient, inpatient, school and community settings. Specific sessions will address:
o Motivational interviewing as a Tool to improve Adherence
o Achieving Better Control of Severe Asthma
o Asthma and its Link to Obesity, Allergies, Atopic Dermatitis and Mental Health
o A Personalized Approach to Managing Patients with Uncontrolled Asthma
o Smoking Cessation: System-Wide and Specific Clinical Options
o Implementing the School Inhaler Program
o Access to Care: Progress, Opportunities and Barriers
CME/CEU credits will be applied for: physicians, PAs, nurses, nurse practitioners, asthma educators and respiratory care practitioners.
