Smoke-Free Air Law: Michigan Attorney General Opinion

On September 15, 2011 the Michigan Attorney General issued Opinion #7261 related to the Michigan Smoke-Free Regulation and the Michigan Medical Marihuana Law.  In general, Opinion #7261 verified that smoked Medical Marihuana is prohibited in public areas.  The Opinion also specifically states that apartment buildings may prohibit the smoking of medical marihuana and growing of marihuana plants anywhere within their buildings.
