Event Description
Kick off Asthma and Allergy Awareness month at this interprofessional Summit, with an optional pre-Summit afternoon educational activity by the Association of Asthma Educators (AAE). Learn more about a "SMARTT" (Social Determinants of Health, Management/Medications, Asthma Guidelines, Reality/Recommendation/Research, Triggers and Tools) approach to care of persons with asthma. Exhibitors will be on-site at the Summit with information about asthma-related products and services. The Summit is a collaboration between the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and the Asthma Alliance of North Carolina (AANC).
