Institutional "push-back"

have any of you experienced institutional "push-back" on using "non-secure" , proprietary apps (e.g. FACETime) for video communication? Some of the health systems require using their own HIPPA-secure app, which is often cumbersome or difficulty to use for families

We do have to use HIPPA compliant platforms for data collection so we use Webex and Bluejeans.

At Florida DOH, we use  Microsoft Teams, which is HIPPA compliant. Participants will download the app, which is accepted even with government issued phones.
