Are there case studies concerning pilots and implementation of reimbursement for environmental and asthma intervention home visiting services?

Also, did the programs mentioned in the webinar rely on self reported results from home visiting program patients or medical record data for hospitalizations and ER visits as the basis for cost savings and reimbursement?

Hi PBouton, we answered this question in a previous post.  We are doing a cost analysis in MA through our READY study (on-going).  However, evaluation of reimbursement for this service I haven't seen, only because it is not yet widely reimbursed.  Neighborhood Health Plan in MA does reimburse for this service and might be a good plan to talk to.  I haven't seen them published anything yet.

Also, MassHealth (Medicaid) will be evaluating the reimbursement system for the Bundled Payment Pilot I mentioned.
