CHW addressing adults with asthma

Posted on: 06 December 2012 By: EPechter

How have the programs addressed adults with asthma?

How can we support CHW learning on work-related asthma?  Specifically, learning about causes and prevention of work-related asthma and the relevance of workers' compensation benefits.

Do home visiting CHWs learn and teach about the risks of asthmagens and irritants in disinfectants and cleaning products?

question about community health workers

Posted on: 13 November 2012 By: nuthatch43

Good afternoon. What is the level of training/education that is needed for community health workers to be able to successfully educate and manage the asthma issues that come up during a home visit. Does the community worker refer back to the provider? Thank you.
