The USA Breathmobile is a mobile asthma clinic that visits Mobile County Public Schools. The USA Breathmbile is a fully-equipped RV staffed with a Pediatrician, PA, asthma educator and a medical assistant who function under the direction of Drs. Loran Clement and Druhan Howell. Services include comprehensive physicals, spirometry, allergy testing, and asthma education.

University of South Florida Center for Social Marketing

Head Start Learning Tree is a federally funded Head Start program for preschool children from low income families. We currently service 806 children at 15 centers located in West, Southwest, and South Philadelphia.

The School District of Philadelphia, in collaboration with St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, American Lung Association, PA Department of Health and other groups, developed an Asthma Management Program that serves as a district-wide guide for teachers and staff to understand their roles and responsiblities in managing asthma in schools.

It is the objective of the program to improve the education and communication to involved parties about asthma. The causes, triggers, and the dangers of the condition. Due to the lack of communication, parents fail to inform school level personnel about the condition of the child until the trigger is activated.

The Los Angeles Unified School District Asthma Program is a multilevel comprehensive coordinated care program.

The San Diego Unified School District Nursing and Wellness Asthma Management Project is currently in the second year of a five year cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Lung Association of San Diego.

Mission Statement: To improve the quality of asthma education, prevention, management and services in Trempealeau County.

The goal of Healthy Homes is to assist Cowlitz County residents in learning about common health risks in the home associated with asthma, allergies, and other breathing problems. Trained volunteers work with the resident, to perform an in-home assessment that locates common triggers known to aggravate breathing conditions. Some examples include mold and mildew, dust mites, pet dander, and secondhand smoke. Then, the volunteer and resident develop a simple action plan that includes low or no-cost ways in which to make the suggested improvements.
