EPA has developed a national-scale, multisector report that quantifies projected health effects to children from climate change, including those related to asthma. The report considers such factors as extreme heat, air quality, changing seasons, flooding, and infectious diseases. Where possible, the analyses consider the extent to which these risks disproportionately fall on children from overburdened populations.
