Much of the day-to-day responsibility for managing asthma falls on the child and their parents. However, because of the time spent in school, school staff can become a partner in the management of the disease. Their active participation through Peak Performance USA, with the help of the respiratory care practitioner, in a partnership with the physician, child and parents can help the child participate fully in school activities.

US Green Building Council's Green Schools mission is to have "Every Child in a Green School Within THIS Generation". Our big push is to educate in IEQ, including how to reduce asthma, allergies, and irritants in schools.

Moms Clean Air Force is a national movement of more than 132,000 moms — and dads too! — who are protecting our children’s right to clean air. Moms Clean Air Force is a special project of the Environmental Defense Fund.

We are a CAP weatherization program looking for partnerships in a Health Homes program. We would like asthma control to be a large portion of our efforts.
