The American Lung Association of New Mexico helps children manage asthma through the Open Airways and Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools programs, and conducts education for adults, parents and caregivers about asthma and asthma management.

The American Lung Association of MidSouth promotes lung health and prevents lung disease by educating individuals and their families about asthma, stressing the effects of smoking and environmental tobacco smoke.

To raise awareness about asthma in the community, Acknowledge Now arranges educational seminars, sponsors asthma awareness events, distributes educational materials, and partners with other programs conducting asthma outreach.

The goal of ZAP asthma is to improve the health and quality of children with asthma who live in inner city communities, thereby reducing school days lost, caregiver work days missed, and decreasing emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

Georgia Association for Primary Health Care provides preventive care, teaches self-management techniques to providers and staff, and conducts other activities to reduce deaths in children and disabilities in adults from asthma.

The A-Team works actively with state departments, local governments and community groups to provide asthma education and asthma management resources and services free of charge so that every child between 5-11 has an Asthma Action Plan and is empowered to live an active lifestyle.
