Healthy Hoops(SM) is an innovative health education and management program from AmeriHealth Mercy for children and their families. This NCQA-recognized program uses basketball as a platform to teach your members how to manage their asthma. To do this, the program uses a coalition of local healthcare providers and community organizations coupled with full physical screenings, individualized asthma action plans and targeted health education. The result is proven improved health outcomes for them and decreased utilization and cost for you.

Parents & children receive education from the American Lung Association.
