GHHI provides an innovative approach to addressing substandard housing by braiding together categorically separate but mission-related funding and programs, and by leveraging federal, state, local and philanthropic resources to create healthy, lead-safe and energy efficient homes across America. Launched in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the White House Office of Community Initiatives in 2009, GHHI is effectively transforming the housing intervention system at the local level.

The goal of the Pediatric Asthma Consortium is to integrate the diverse systems and services to improve pediatric asthma in Western New York. We convene various community stakeholders to develop a comprehensive systematic approach to improve population-based asthma care and outcomes in the Western New York Community through partnerships that involve integrating program activities, services and resources, as well as aligning improvement goals and related measures.We are testing Interventions for addressing gaps in care and improving outcomes for a targeted high-risk population and develop/implement strategies to spread interventions throughout the community.
