The Michigan Healthy Homes Program provides intervention services to 300 households in which low-income children with asthma who are less than 18 years of age reside.

The National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) works to ensure effective asthma control in the United States by raising awareness about asthma, educating about symptoms and triggers, and fostering partnerships between patients and health professionals.

The Asthma Prevention and Control Program conducts asthma surveillance; works with statewide and regional partnerships; uses regulatory, education and training interventions to reduce exposures in indoor environments; and improves disease management by increasing the number of healthcare sites using evidence-based clinical guidelines.

The vision of the Minnesota Department of Health asthma program is that “Minnesotans with asthma will have healthy environments and will be able to enjoy life not limited by their asthma because their asthma is appropriately managed and well controlled.”

The mission of the New Haven Health Department Asthma Prevention and Management Program is to reduce morbidity and mortality from asthma, decrease the number of missed work and school days as the result of asthma symptoms, and improve quality of life for people with asthma in New Haven.

EPA Region 6 provides grants to asthma organizations, distributes educational materials, and provides support and coordination among Region 6 contacts.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control (OHHLHC) Healthy Homes program works to reduce environmental health and safety hazards in housing.

Montana Asthma Control Program improves the quality of life for all Montanans with asthma by supporting statewide efforts that promote self management education, effective clinical care and coordination, and the creation of asthma friendly environments.

The Craven-Pamlico Asthma Coalition works with area pediatricians to ensure that families have all the knowledge and tools needed to let their child with asthma go to school every day, participate in sports, and feel healthy because "Breathing Should be Easy!"

The North Brooklyn Health Network - Asthma Program serves poor, multi-ethnic, medically underserved communities in Brooklyn, specifically targeting disparities of access to quality asthma care.
