Kid's Asthma Management Program is a school-based asthma screening and education program designed to help reduce the burden of asthma in Delaware County.
We are a school based asthma screening and education program designed to help reduce the burden of asthma in Delaware County which has a rate of asthma that is twice as high as our state. We are 20.3 % and the state is 10.7%. The program goes into the schools and educates students about the triggers, warning signs and medication. The goal is to reduce the number of 911 call and ED visit during the school day.
