Based on models from around the country, Buffalo’s Green and Healthy Homes Initiative aligns and coordinates public and private funding sources and programs for weatherization, lead hazard control, asthma control, and other home health and safety interventions in low income homes. Homes with vulnerable populations such as children and seniors will be given priority. Under the green and healthy model, comprehensive whole-house solutions replace a piecemeal approach that has been based more on government silos than on the needs of children and families.

Regional Asthma Management and Prevention's mission is to reduce the burden of asthma with a focus on health equity.

Breathe New Hampshire (BNH) is committed to both the elimination and prevention of lung disease, and the care and assistance for those living with lung disease. BNH provides technical assistance, resources, training and support to professionals, patients, students, parents, teachers, childcare providers, legislators, and others.

HCBT is a community asthma education program that takes place in under served communities in Chicago. Community Health Workers provide comprehensive in-home asthma education to children and their families over the course of a year.

Asthmania Academy helps children with asthma and the people who care for them. We are the second program in the nation and the first in the Southeast to receive ASME certification from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). Our goal is to work with patients, families and physicians to improve asthma control. Asthmania Academy's specialized staff includes certified asthma educators (AE-C), pediatric hospitalists and certified pulmonary function technologists (CPFT) who can assess asthma control, perform diagnostic studies and provide recommendations based on nationally-recognized asthma management guidelines.

The goal of the Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC) is the reduce the burden of childhood asthma in the San Joaquin Valley. CCAC will engage and develop a network of stakeholders across the region who will work together to improve the health and quality of life of San Joaquin Valley residents affected by asthma.

Mothers & Others for Clean Air is a partnership of leading public health, environmental and child advocacy organizations dedicated to improving air quality for all Georgians by educating the public about the negative health impacts of air pollution and engaging people in both individual change and public policy advocacy.
